So you want to know a little more about me, do ya? Well, let’s start with a picture.
Now, everybody knows that a picture says a thousand words so that’s a lot of pressure off me – thanks, modern technology!
If that wasn’t enough please see my very professional and serious author biography below that I absolutely did not write myself in an effort to appear professional.
(Spoiler Alert: I did.)
Critically acclaimed* poet and author Gregory Lawrence was born and raised in Hampshire in the United Kingdom. After a few years in London and Brighton he has now returned to live in his hometown in his own flat which overlooks a kebab shop, an estate agents and a vape shop. He enjoys reading, gaming, trying not to splash bacon fat on himself when he’s cooking in just his pants, and writing poetry, short stories and tales for children. He cites his literary influences as JK Rowling, Pam Ayres, Hilaire Belloc, Roald Dahl and Katie Price. If he were to do drag, his name would be Herby Dumpling. Gregory is available for commissioned work.
*Gregory’s Mum is called Critically.
Praise for Gregory Lawrence.
“Over 6 years ago I went to University with Greg where I remember him writing poems and stories in his spare time. This year, as I started to write the invitations for my wedding, I remembered Greg and the talent he had – which is now bigger and better than before. Greg wrote a selection of short poems for my gift list. He listened to the ‘ideas’ I wanted and came up with the most amazing rhymes which were personal and met my requirements. Even when I asked him to change one part of the poem… he did so straight away! I would highly recommend Greg.” – Carly
